Linus Carl Pauling (1901 – 1994). Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1954.He is one of the early pioneers of quantum chemistry and molecular biology. He is one of the only two scientists in history who won two Nobel Prizes. His second is a Nobel Peace Prize which he received in 1962.
